I'm a little nervous going into my first run today and I would love some positive messages. I've been dramatically unfit for a few years now and today is the day I've had circled on my calendar for months. Wish me luck!
My roommate is an avid runner and told me to post my training schedule for predictions on my 5k time.
Exercises:
-10 crunches
-Half mile repeats on the treadmill (two half miles a day, unless I throw up)
-5 pushups (again, or until I throw up)
Diet:
-Mostly carbs, but I've started to buy bananas and spinach to eat with meals. They both are hard with Reese's cups, but I gag it down to make it work.
My most recent half mile time was 6:24 and it slows down from there as I continue my run.
