Why not just invite every nations top stars to run against our normal high schools.
Is there really a point to this?

Are you kidding??? It's got to be the most well attended T & F meet all year in this entire country. Yeah, there's a point.
What? To show that foreign all star teams can beat normal HS kids?
Great. Mission accomplished.
Whats the difference between a Jamaican prep school and Saratoga Springs in the mid-00s? Or Long Beach Poly? I for a fact know personally there are kids travelling 40 miles away every day for a chance to run at Poly.

Were they actually attending the school? If they were, who cares how far they traveled? The point is that Jamaican all star teams shouldn't be racing against American high school kids. If you honestly think that they are so good, then how come Jamaicans don't dominate the NCAAs?
Fine, you're going back a ways just for a few examples though. Jamaicans come to Penn every year and give everyone a beat down. 1-4 today in the girls 4x1? Really? Over basically a DC area all star team (Bullis) in 5th?
Normal HSs may as well just go for autographs.
So we got 46,000 T & F fans at Penn right now & 600 'fans' at Drake Relays. I've got a question for you - What's the point of Drake?

It's very late in the Jamaican and Caribbean HS season, they peaked for their championship last week.
Frankly I'm tired of going to track meets in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and being forced to eat beef patties, drink ride stripe beer and listen to dancehall music. This is America dang it. Where is the American pride. Where are the real Americans in Philly and on Randall Island in New York who love track, listen to country music and love a slab of steak?

They're at home watching NASCAR on TV.
How are they all star teams?? The kids go to those high schools, they just have better quality come to the meet and are in better shape.
Lmao you go to maybe 2-3 meets where it's beef patties and dancehall music haha. It's not the Jamaicans fault that they actually support their country and had fun instead of treating the other 90% of American track meets like it's golf lol

That's why there are the undercard races for the normal kids... Large Schools 4x4, Small school, Philly area... goes on and on.
