I haven't raced in a while and my fitness has definitely improved quite a bit in the past few months. I'd like to do a race but completely unsure about a target pace. I was just gonna wing it and shoot for even pacing based from feel at the start. Is this wrong or should i run a mile time trial and go from that. I was gonna run either an 8k or 10k race in two weeks. Last 5k PB was an 18:45 back in February (yes i know it's slow).
