She ran an 18:30 5k during cross, and is doing well during track season but has shin splints and is constantly sore. This girl has no knee drive once soever and pounds her feet whenever she runs. She's also tripped and injured herself (on three separate occasions) on long runs. We do drills all the time and I'm constantly on her about it but nothing has helped. She's fast already, but with better form I feel like she can be much faster and more efficient. Is her form ever going to improve or is it best to leave her be? She's going into her junior year so there is time to try to fix what God seemed to give her.
