I'm suffering from shin splints for a pretty long time now. It's on both legs and it's like my body is playing a game with me: sometimes I can run workouts just fine, other times even an easy run hurts like hell, sometimes it's my left leg, other times it's the right and even other times it's both, sometimes it's in de middle of the leg, sometimes it's lower, to summarize it: it's unpredictable and I don't really know what to do.
What I do know is that I got them when I started running forefoot. Now I think there are only a few things left I didn't try. Would this help significantly:
- lose about 20 pounds of weight
- buy some shoes wich are cushoned at the forefoot
