Sorry, I seriously do not understand the distinction between this performance and Radcliffe's WR of 2:15.

Seriously? It's posted everywhere and easy to find.
Did you understand how the Boston race a few years ago was faster than the WR but was not a WR?
The same way Rossi's time was not a BQ.
Same reason Ben Johnson's times aren't WRs
cause no one likes paula radcliffe
Cause Paula's 2:15 was "out of this world"
It's an "all woman's" WR. In other words no men in the race. Radcliffe ran her record in a men/women race.
But this is not a world record. It's a joke. Nice run, but not close. As for Keitany, why did I think she was a white American girl? Who am I confusing her name with?
As for the slanderers, sorry morons, Radcliffe's old blood tests are isotope tested. You lose, lying idiots

1. Please don't post the correct answer. You're enabling the lazy ass OP who deserves a bunch of BS in his BS thread.
2. You're probably thinking of Mary Cain.

Exactly my thoughts!

Ones black and ones white. Slight diff.
The rule change about women's only race being mandatory for WR is BS.
It'd be going back in NBA changing the scoring record book after the fact, reclassifying all the 3 pointers made during the seasons where the line was shorter (mid 90's) as 2 pointers, since no one knows where those shots were actually launched from.
I don't know how much having a male pacer may or may not have helped. Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. But it's ridiculous and trivializes the whole sport to change what qualifies as a WR years after the fact.

Keitany has the world record in an all women's race. The world record in a men's/women's race is Dennis Kimetto's 2h 02 mins 57 secs in Berlin in 2014.

This is totally different, London is a records eligible course. Also Keitany did not break the standing overall women's WR, so this is a totally different issue and not as easily understood if you just read the headline and not the whole article.
Mary Jepkosgei Keitany holds the women's world record at 2:17:01;
Dennis Kimetto holds the men's world record at 2:02.57;
Paula Radcliffe holds the mixed gender record at 2:15:25.

Nice response!
Can anyone find an article about the details of Paula's 2:15?
I thought she ran a race where the females' started at a different time than the males but somehow she had male pacers.
Is "mixed gender" the same as intersex?

The discussion is about blood doping, not EPO, HGH, or testosterone doping.
