Odean Skeen will win the 100m national title and anchor Auburn to a top 3 finish in the 4x100m. You heard it here first, Auburn Sprints are back!

He only ran the prelims at the meet in Auburn, why didn't he run the finals?
What's left to prove by running in a final after a 9.98? Save that next PR for Coleman at SEC's.
Had a significant following wind in that race, so it's nothing special.
Also, two words: Christian Coleman
End of thread
Just want to remind you of a couple things...
1. A 2.0 wind is perfectly legal.
2. Coleman has never, let me repeat NEVER broken 10.00 in the 100m.
*Mic drop*

What about Coleman's 9.95 at U.S. Olympic Trial Semis with 1.7 wind? Or his 9.96 in prelims?

Dropping mics with wrong info. Smooth.
2.0 is legal, yet significant. He's barely sub 10 and needed a gail force wind to do it.
A yawner.
This is as good as it'll get for Odie.

2.0 m/s is 4.5 miles per hour. That's like a light breeze. Wind requirements are very stringent.
well, the post is ridiculous, not so sure about the time

A light breeze that often offers an extra tenth(or more)of assistance.
Let's see him back this up with considerably less wind and with real competition. I suspect Odie will fold like a cheap lawn chair though.
^^^^^^^ lol

Do you know anything about sprinting or coaching?
You only get so many runs that fast in a season, especially with a young athlete. Why burn one off in this meet with not much at stake, and potentially not make it through the season? They might already be looking at how to stretch things through NCAAs to outdoor nats.

Whether you like it or not he's sub 10 any way you look at it. There's nothing you can do about it, lol trying to act like you're such an expert on wind like other people on here think they know so much more than everyone else about doping.

Thank you for reminding me of FAKE NEWS
Let me remind you Coleman has broken 10.00 TWICE and he's ran a wind legal 9.95 with a lesser tailwind than he got.
He's already cruised a 10.03 so far this season and he eased up at the line when he did it.
Get your facts straight.

Whether YOU like it or not, Odie will be another Kemarley Brown: a one hit wonder who got lucky with the wind and hasn't lived up to the hype. There's nothing you can do about it, lol trying to act like a clueless fanboy who conveniently ignores the facts to bolster his weak opinions.
Have a seat chap.
I do not think this is entirely "fake news." When any NCAA guy runs a legal sub 10, why shouldn't he be in the conversation of being a contender? I think it's a little soon to be crowning him an NCAA champion, but sh*t, can you imagine an NCAA final with two sub 10 guys pushing each other? That is just good for Track & Field.
For a program that's been under heat in recent years, Auburn has stepped up its game with Skeen, and the two Jamaican freshmen.

.
Skeen is hardly in Coleman's zip code right now. He should concern himself with Kendal Williams, Cameron Burrell, Senoj Jay Givens and Jaylen Bacon before we talk about him being a contender for a title. Let's see if he can back up his times and most importantly make the NCAA 100m final.
Put this thread to bed for now.
