4:15ish
4:16. If I were you, I'd keep all the endurance type stuff but throw in some more speed.
Certainly sub 4:20. 4:15 might be unlikely until you get a little more speed.
For reference, I had a teammate run 2:00, 4:19, and 9:01 in a season.

I am certainly lacking raw speed right now. I have an open PR of 55.8 and a relay split at the same time. I'm hoping to be in at least 9:05 shape by the end of the year but I'm not sure how I can get my 1600 down to 4:15 area with a major change to training
I don't think you need a major change. What exactly is your training now?

Could be very true. Maybe OP could share more training details.
Also OP, sometimes lack of speed is an issue with form. If you're running very heel-toe, it may not be a negative at slower speeds. But unless you learn to not brake on your heel and to push off correctly at faster speeds, you'll always struggle as distances get shorter and paces increase.
It is just conjecture, but something to look at.

I meant to say without a major change. My training is good but nothing crazy volume wise. I started running last year so I'm just kinda getting into higher mileage. I'm currently at 60 mpw with lifting and good workouts. Over the winter I did some pretty good tempos (7 miles @ 5:30) and fartlek runs. I've done 5x1k (2:58 with 2:00 rest) recently and some good 400 workouts. I'm starting to cut mileage (55 this past week and 50 next week) so I'm feeling really good now.
Bump. Interested in some more answers
