If he rolls into a major town he'll likely know we will be watching so will be on a bike.
We need to catch him when he thinks no-one is watching him.
If you plan to go and find him, do NOT post where on here, as he is probably reading this.
Just go and get the video, THEN come back on here!
Today is a rest day for the sweatless duo to do their laundry in Lamesa. And look, we can actually see skin on Kavinoky's bare legs! So he does have the ability to wear shorts like a normal person.

Dumb and Dumber are claiming to be going from Lamesa, TX to Sweetwater, TX today along Highway 180 and said "come join us". It's a distance of 102 miles which Google says should take around 8 hours of riding time on a road bike. They are saying only biking today, no running. Gee, wonder why?

Our hero is "running" now. Believe it?

I've always thought biking was kind of gay so I haven't followed it much at all. But is it normal to wear a hat like this under your helmet?
Also, how much harder is it to do a 100 mile ride on a mountain bike vs a road bike?

Well you are in luck because Kavinoky claimed last early week that he was all healed up and has been running.
Road cyclists will sometimes wear a baseball like cap under the helmet on very cold days to keep the warmth in but never in the warm and hot temperatures that Kavinoky has. You would be overheating in the heat and have sweat drip down on your face.
For how much easier it is to ride 100 miles on a road bike versus a mountain bike, let's just say for now that it is much easier. I want them to finish their day before doing a scathing break down of what they've done today.
It's probably much easier to drive with a mountain bike in an RV than to ride a road bike through 100+ degrees.
Even if you would ride an easy pace you would look a little more exhausted than these two scamsters.
Looks like Kavinoky reached Sweetwater, Texas so now I will give my scathing breakdown of how they failed to cheat properly today. For that running picture he posted, that is not from today. It is from some unknown past day. You can tell because he is wearing grey tights in the running picture whereas he is wearing white tights in the biking pictures today. But that's not what I'm going to scath Kavinoky about today. It is the blatant fake bike ride from Lamesa, TX that he did today. At 9:53 AM, Kavinoky tweeted a video of him about to ride off from Lamesa:
Then at 1:35 PM, Kavinoky tweeted a picture of him at the intersection of Highway 180 where it turns into Highway 84.
From Lamesa to that intersection is 66 miles (106 km) according to Google Maps. The total time change is 3 hours 42 min. This gives an average speed of 17.6 mph (28.3 km/h) for this segment, which is totally ridiculous on a mountain bike with their level of fitness and with no drafting (they never draft in their pictures). If they ever stopped during this time to piss or eat, then the average speed gets even more ridiculous. I've seen Kavinoky's Athlink results and that first ever twitter video from the beginning of this "journey" of him trying to ride up a low incline hill where he had to literally come to a walking pace. Kavinoky is a below average endurance athlete in both running and cycling.
They then go from that intersection to the 35 miles (56.3 km) to Sweetwater, TX:
From 1:35 PM to 5:19 PM is 3 hours 44 min, which gives this second segment an average speed of 9.33 mph (15.0 km/h). This is an astounding drop in average speed which is very suspicious. This second segment was more the speed a grandma on a beach cruiser bike would ride. Even if they stopped for a whole hour, the average riding speed would still only be 12.7 mph (20.5 km/h). For someone that could ride so blazingly fast the first 66 miles, this simply just doesn't happen.
In short, Kavinoky's bike ride today was fake.

Even when he was supposedly going all Lance Armstrong on that first 66 miles of the bike ride today.
If you want proof that Kavinoky sucks at cycling and is not an elite level cyclist capable of huge average speeds, take a look at this video of him in this tweet riding up a very small incline hill that they forgot to delete. Kavinoky sucks at riding a bike so much that even a hobby jogger is passing him!

On Darren's Facebook page it shows him cycling from Sweetwater TX to Eastland TX, which is about 100 miles. He is completely covered head to toe in clothing, a little overkill for a 100 mile ride in Texas. He is also wearing a backpack which seems unnecessary since he's got an RV driving next to him.

It is supposed to hit 65-67 degrees today. Not scorching hot, but he's definitely overdressed.
Eastland is about 125 miles from Dallas. There has be somebody from LRC who lives in the Dallas-Ft Worth area who can some provide boots on the ground in the next couple days?
Nice analysis, but that is not out of the realm of possibility. Need to do better than that. Better let the big boys take over.
Kyle Gaffney is wearing a black balaclava, FFS. This isn't winter weather.
New tweet from them with a picture saying they are encountering strong headwinds. People, this is a fine lesson on how to NOT ride into a headwind. Kavinoky and Kyle are complete idiots.

Shorts over cycling bib? Seriously?

How can any of his fanboys look at those cycling photos and seriously think they are cycling across America.
They are a complete joke.
THIS photo is more convincing!

Make it happen! And get the video. But make sure you don't mention in advance where you plan to intercept them, as he's reading this.
