At the start of this when I presumed he was going to fake running it all, I thought he might be in line for making some money off this scam.
But as time has gone on, I'm not sure he'll make anything.
I think he's just wasted his summer.
He had hardly any interest in this, and cycling and skating is hardly a big deal even if he covered the full distance that way, which of course he didn't.
I now can't see any publisher being interested in a book or people looking to hire him to speak about this.
I think he must be pretty pissed off we rumbled the scam early so he decided to fake cycling not running.
This is also my view.
Folk who say that LR failed are wrong. This guy was going to attempt to fake a run across America and I believe it was the attention of this website that made him to decide to can that pretty early on and fake a bike ride instead.
Biking across America is no real big deal. But running would have been.
He seems to have had no publicity. The main attention was from this forum.
He has no proof that he did this and this thread now comes up when you google kavinoky.
It must have been a real pain in the arse sitting in that RV, driving at slow speeds. He has lost big time.
