Been there, done that in the 70's. I'm retired. If you had read any of my postings you would have known that. Nonetheless, I'm still devastated. Isn't that how letsrun people are supposed to feel?
So you watched and logged his tracker every day, called places that he was driving by, and are retired and admit that you have tons of free time.
Yet, you could not find any time in your schedule to actually get your boots on the ground and get some real evidence that Darren cheated?

Will Kavinoky buy us lunch tomorrow if we show up at Central Park at noon for his victory lap? He still must have a lot of free give away swag in the big RV. Might as well give it to us for giving him so much publicity.
I'm just a bit embarrassed that none of us were able to meet up with him. Makes us look incompetent. What will the next cheater think when they see this?
It's open season on letsrun. The next time a person goes out on a trans-America run or bike ride, he or she will never have to be concerned with a representative from this website going out on the roads to observe, upload videos or take pics. This website is full of lazy, weak, and worthless keyboard warriors.

I live in the upper midwest so it would be foolish to go several states south just to follow his RV around. In the unlikely chance that he was riding a bike, at my age I am unable to ride a bike 15 mph for 4-5 hours. Unlike Darren, at least I admit that I can't do that, nor will I pretend that I can.
Though Mr. Kavinoky made it to NY, he garnered practically no publicity for his sponsors, and had hardly any followers on his many social media outlets. Most of his followers were letsrunners who were dissing and questioning him the whole way. Though he was never caught faking the bike ride, his documentation was so full of holes, maybe by design, there is no way he can prove he did the ride. If Mr. Kavinoky wants to call that trip a win, then let him. Anyone foolish enough to consider using him for a motivational speaker will probably research him a little and quickly change their mind.
I'm hoping that once his crew is back home in California and no longer working for him that one of them will spill the beans.
It's over. We lost. :(

Not all of us live in the States, or live in America but thousands of miles away from his route.
He was so hard to find anyway, the tracker was switched off a lot whilst he disappeared off somewhere.
He clearly snuck off to strange routes to avoid people finding him.
Had this hit the media like the Rob Young scam did, then more people would have seen this and more chance of boots on the ground.
If a bear shats in a forest and no one is around to smell it, does it make a smell?

Nope, people here knew the hotels Kavinoky slept at. Yet no one bothered to camp out in the parking lots, etc. Even if Kavinoky had a live tracker and uploaded data continuously, letsrun still would have stayed in the comfort of their mommies basements typing away all day. This website does online stalking only but zilch when it comes to performing outdoor observation of intended target.
Letsrun is passive and weak.
You completely ignored my main point.
Not all of us live in the States, or live in America but thousands of miles away from his route.
I don't live in America.
Distance was the main issue stopping people from finding him.
You think people are going to fly over from Europe or travel thousands of miles across America when he gave no itinerary of where he would be IN ADVANCE?
He was hard to find a lot of the time.
To make a big trip over you need to be able to plan in advance
Why didn't you go out and catch him then?
Ah, sorry, I forgot. You were locked in your momma's basement!
Don't know why you are wasting your time
It is over onto the next target this was fun but truly w waste of effort

You wish. This is far from over. Now he will start to lie and blag he cycled it all to get more sponsors, speaking engagements, etc and so now we need to be on the backs of these people he tries to scam to let them know about this farce.
People are already finding this thread just from google.
We know you are connected to him. Any rational impartial person looking at the evidence would know he cheated. You refused to accept that, therefore you are clearly connected to him
But how will that work if you never get your "men" on their boots?
Do the supporters of Darren Kavinoky truly think he had a successful promotional trip across the country? The number of hits to his tweeter and Facebook and video accounts were minimal, like 30 or 40 people, probably all the same people, and probably most from this running website. Can you call that a success?

Ozzie, as has been repeated a million times, the evidence is there that he didn't do this trip properly.
Go read the thread and the tracker stats.
He can never possibly prove he DID do it as despite being sponsored by Garmin he refused to wear a watch and log the genuine miles he rode.
There's way more to proving he's a fraud than a video of the RV. Even if we got this he would just come up with an excuse anyway, like saying they were driving to the shops.

You can't drive a car? You knew where he was every second. You continuously posted where he was staying he night. You'd have to be an idiot to nor be able to follow him. You were the perdect candidate to follow him.
You failed us.
