I ran 12 200s today with 100 walk and a 100 jog I ran all 12 at 28 and one at 27.80.

I'm used to determining a workout's predictive capacity based on time rest, so I'll assume that 100 walk and 100 jog together were about 1:30-1:45.
So, 12x200 with 1:30 rest usually comes out to a bit faster than 800 pace, so I'd say 1:58-2:02. I can't predict too well because of the long rest, so all I can assume is that you're able to comfortably run 28s for 200m. As I have posted many times, your current PBs and when you set them is essential to a prediction from a workout. If you post your mile and/or 400 PBs and when they were set I can tell you more accurately how fast you could run an 800.
If you want to do a workout that is near-foolproof in predicting 800 fitness, do 8x200 with 30s rest. Add up your slowest four 200s and that is your 800 fitness (plus/minus 1 second).
If you want to know 100% what you can run an 800 in, go run an 800. 800s are short enough that you can recover in a couple of days.
