I think we'll see a world record. He's in shape, has that new Sub2 watch and Ghirmay will push him far. But I'll be rooting for Kirui to make top 3.

Paris 2014 - 2:05:04 CR 1st
Chicago 2014 - 2:05:51 4th
Dubai 2015 - DNF
London 2016 - 2:06:36 3rd
Berlin 2016 - 2:03:03 1st
Dubai 2017 - DNF
To me that is kind of inconsistent for an elite marathoner, 2 DNF, and 2:06 last year in London...where Kipsang will drop 2:04 or less whenever he does a flat course marathon, and he will not DNF
3 impressive solid times, 1 weak time( 2016 London 2:06 is pretty weak based on elite standards), and 2 DNF ......He ran the second best marathon time in marathon history last year, but before that he was only good in 2014.
grade: Satisfactory
You've gotta be kidding. There's no world in which 2:06:36 for 3rd in a loaded field is a pretty damn strong performance.
Bekele's one of the top 4 or 5 actively competing male marathoners in the world on a shortlist that includes Kipchoge, Kimetto, and Kipsang. I don't see how you can seriously dispute that.
2:02:39. I win.

I'll say 2:07 (and Daniel Wanjiru FTW).

If this was Jeapordy I would've won ;)
Props on you picking the win, though!
