I have the option to either get surgery for the torn hammy or use stem cells.
I got a PRP and that did not do much. Haven't seen much on stem cells but surgery is such a long recovery process.
Any success with stem cells?

If you can afford the extra cost there is no harm BUT if you are expecting a significantly faster recovery you will be disappointed.
At the end of the day time and rest the key components to a successful recovery.
Spoke to a doc about PRP therapy and he said that the top pro sports have already given up on it as an effective means of healing athletic injuries. All evidence of benefit has been anecdotal, and there is no evidence from MRI that it helps.
