before today the US debut list was (copied from Jon Mulkeen tweet @Statman_Jon):

2:26:58 Kastor '01

2:27:03 Cragg '11

2:27:10 Runyan '02

2:27:17 Baillie '12

2:28:13 Huddle '16

So it appears she is by far the fastest US debut

Great day for Americans - all around. Kind of wish we could've watched Desi work herself back into 4th. Great race for Rupp and Hasay, both performed really well and smart races. 6 American men in the top 10

Think about Rupp. In 2 huge Intetnational fields he's been beaten by 3 people. Meanwhile he's bested any number of past champions. The list of men he's outraced is amazing.

I see the NOP fanboys are in full force today. It's a shame you can't see the obvious or you know it but your too much of a fanboy to admit it

It must have been great wind-aided, just like 2011.

Say what you want, but clearly Alberto knows how to coach the marathon after today's performances. Three entrants - three podium finishes!

The only obvious signs that I noticed was in the two Kenyan "winners."

The cheating is getting ridiculous!

+1 Very happy to have found it. Probably the best live version of Boston I've seen in awhile. No stupid ass commercials. They missed the men's break at the end when showing the women, but at least they replayed it.

The US had a great day. It was a good race.If you don't like Salazar and anyone associated with him that is up to you. Perhaps you are cheering for people associated with the Italian agents who coach dopers. Or perhaps you are cheering for athletes of a coach who,for some reason, espouse theories that certain PEDs don't work on a super small population of people who he happens to coach. That coach remains 'likeable'!

The coverage would have been perfect, had they not shown too many pictures or used a splitscreen for them.

I pull for a lot of different athletes in a lot of different sports.
