Oh my word....where did that come from lol? Sorry guys, but I am getting out of this forum. I have said everything there is to say and certainly don't think I have put the above post on Dave's Facebook page. I think I have posted on his Lands End FB that the real heroes are those who Dave is raising money for. Anyway, far too busy to mess around on here and let's just leave them to get on with their challenge.

Neil, assuming that you are genuine, apologies for the reactions of some, would you agree however that the 2016 London time of 4:19 looks suspicious purely on the timing and photo data even before you hear that he claimed it as a 3:12 ?

And zero mats crossed.

he needed to get under 3:30 to get his charity money.
he was cheating for the kids.
Neil to make it clear, he ran 4.19 in London 2016, if indeed he did run it, having managed to avoid the mats and cameras all the way the Parliament Square.
Check the results for his name, 4:19 is the time. Check the official photos on his result page, it's definitely him. Check the chip times of the others on his finish photos, 32217 4:05, 45999 4:14, 15871 4:16, 9854 4:15, 57841 4:17.
You are being taken for a fool if you believe he ran 3:12.
Given that he is running with no cadence data and has said he was going for the record, time and time again, and given his proven lie about his athletic ability I think it is fair to assume he would have cheated on this run and justified it to himself as it was a joke record anyway, nothing serious, and he was raising money for a good cause.
In fact he is a fraud, both on his London claim, and on his claims that he would break a record which has gained him resources and good will beyond that he deserves. Unfortunately he does not appear to be running with the tracker next to him, so the data will be fairly poor, and of course now he has abandoned plans to go for the record because people who care about the sport are not credulous idiots. The Facebook pages is now sanitised so he won't be admitting he cheated there, which unfortunately for him and his family means people who are less than polite will probably try to out him, as the liar he is, in other ways.
If he did Rossi the course at London 2016, the fantasy 3:12 claim is remarkably close to Rossi's 3:11 . . .
I predict 1st day mileage 47

As for the "heatwave", yes the UK's obsession with weather that is slightly outside the norm being some kind of natural disaster is quite frankly embarrassing.
Thanks. Not particularly close to Glasgow but doable - as long as the weather's ok ;-)
Hus current pace is under 60 miles for 18 hours. Not looking good.
I predict 50 miles.

Come off it, he yomps that much in a morning then goes for serious training in the afternoon.

And throws in Mattressman commercials to boot plus spending an hour seperarely with each one if his kids.
Terrie Reading has deleted every single comment on their Facebook page that questions this run or asks for data, including the ones that have been up for the past few days. Why must they be so difficult? Is a little honesty and decency from them too much to ask for?
And Dave is not doing so well on his run. At this rate, he won't make it to the London Marathon by a long shot.
And with their professional photographer (Mark) following Dave every step of the way, there is still not a single video of Dave actually doing any running! What do they have to hide?
He's picked up his pace since this morning, he's now at 35 miles. I'm always impressed when someone gets faster the longer they run.
Apparently he is walking at about 3.5 MPH
It's always funny how these scam artists start paddling back once people question them.
He said he can run 4 mph for 20 hours. Let's see if that still works on day 3. I doubt it. He doesn't really look like a world class multiday runner.

He will experience how much harder it will be tomorrow vs today. Day 3 he will be slapped into the harsh reality.

I'm still shocked at the lack of integrity and honesty from his sponsors and coach even when we caught and exposed them. Won't be doing any business with them.
He's currently at 37 miles in 10h:40m. I suspect he'll struggle to go much beyond 50 miles today. In the UK the sun sets around 8PM this time of year and I can't imagine him running for too long in the dark.
Would be great to see some video and / or photographic evidence of todays 'run'...if he want's to borrow a GPS / Cadence enabled Garmin I'll happily donate my Fenix 3 to him for the journey.
