Where's the heat sheets? Nothing on Stanford's website yet. BS?
The Flotrack article has a link to the sheets although I didn't scroll through them to see Allie O's name. Seems unlikely they'd make it up, though I'm far from a Flotrack supporter
Definitely not heat sheets. Only entries.
Their link says Heat Sheets and you're right -- it's entries. And I don't even see her name under steeple. What gives? Punks.
Still not heat sheets.....
Maybe we live in alternate universes.Maybe it's just a bunch of hype, but this is what I see:

What a goofball
Thanks, Lava Dome. The link was taking me to outdated entry lists.
Aren't the barriers taller than she is??
Signed,
A concerned fan
Former basketball and soccer player and has run great at Mt Marathon, which requires some pretty extreme agility on the downhill. But considering the injury history for the past two years, this is surprising.
I like that Aliie is small in stature but big on guts.
Allie's sister ran steeple for Willamette (of Nick Symmonds fame) so maybe big sis got in her dome.

I was waiting for the first person to point out that she ran Mt Marathon and somehow try and relate that to the steeple. Running up and down a mountain (which she is excellent at obviously as she was WORLD Junior Champion) does not mean "oh yea, totally will translate to the freaking steeple." Butthead.
Allie loves to prove people wrong when they say she can't do something especially because of her size. She ran sub 10 in the 3200m as a high schooler so it will be interesting to see how she does. Although I don't think she will be as good at the steeplechase compared to the 5k or 10k.
Look up her athletic.net profile. She ran at least nine 300m Hurdles races in high school. It obviously won't be her first time jumping over something and I think it's safe to say the endurance won't be a problem.
Women's steeple barriers are a joke - about the same height as the logs they were jumping over last weekend at world XC.
She is way too small; it won't be a good event for her.
