I've been running slower than usual paces to try to build up more miles, i haven't done any faster running in a while. My miles I've built up more aren't much more then what i was doing previously since i just started doing this for the last few weeks so about a 10mpw difference from 3 weeks ago. I'm getting some tightness in my shins it first started in my calf, then to my soleus, then moved to the achilles, now its tight on the front part of my shins. I sometimes feel tightness and hear the snapping/creaking. Was curious if running some faster than my usual paces will help release anything. I know it sounds counterproductive but was just wondering if any one else has done this. I don't have any sharp pain or anything. I've had a stress fracture long ago and know exactly how that feels and it doesn't feel anything like that. Thanks!
