Today at track practice we did a 4x600m workout with 2:30 rest. I was definitely tired in all of them but not all out. Times were within 1-2 seconds of each other and averaged 2:10. That's almost 6 seconds faster than my mile race pace 11 days ago (i.e 6:03...yes I know that's kinda slow even for a sophomore girl but we don't all have the speedy genes ya know)
Am I capable of running a 1600m race on thursday at my average pace for these? Or is that being too ambitious? Could I at least have a good chance of going under 6?
Other info. I'm now averaging about 20-25 mpw and feel like I'm starting to get in better aerobic shape.
