Probably I am forgetting many, but it seems that for a tiny school, Dartmouth has a large footprint in running and track. I can't even think of a well known Harvard, Brown, Williams, Amherst, Middlebury, Tufts etc. runner.

The last white sprinter to run on a USA Olympic 4x1, Daetmouths Gerry Ashworth.
From a statistical standpoint maybe Dartmouth does not stand out that much. It has 7 Olympic medallists in field and track over the years, a majority of them alumni at the time. My alma mater is one quarter the size and only has one , an undergraduate ate the time. But my alma mater is total nerd city and does much better on the Nobel list.

Dartmouth has a stellar history in NCAA XC. They were runners-up in 1986 & 1987, and then also placed in the top 10 in 1988 (5th) and 1989 (9th). They've finished a total of 8 times in the top 15 at NCAAs XC across 19 appearances (most for an Ivy League school). They still have a strong distance program IMHO.

Based purely off the information you provided, if your alma mater is 1/4 the size but has 1/7 the # of olympic medallists, it would seem to underperform compared to Dartmouth. It sounded like you just wanted to associate yourself with 'total nerd city' even though it is quite apparent you did not major in, let alone excel at, Math.
