I am really disappointed with the team and coaches training. Where do I go from here?

Out the door to train.
This can be a problem for runners in the Northeast. In high school you ran outdoor track from mid-march til the end of June. Once in college the season is very short. Our college's first meet was to be this weekend- it was snowed out. So now there are five weekends left to the end of the term. That means you would only have five chances to hit qualifications for the Championships meets. Next weekend the temps will be in the middle 30's not conducive for fast times as well as the required training. Coaches and athletes alike need to realize this and not use it as an excuse, but as motivation to find a way to be ready when your opportunity arises. You need to build this concept into your training plans.
Time to pick up a good grammar book.

Do you go to college in the midwest? I have multiple team mates who fit your description on my team. Coaches are just terrible, but they think they know it all. Anyone who doesn't improve, which is 90% of our team, is blamed for their own poor performance.
I got around it by training on my own. I do easy days with team mates, who are the only reason I'm still here, but workout days I do on my own.
Transfer to a good running school like Oregon or Colorado.
I can overlook most grammar errors, but on a running forum, posters really ought to be able to conjugate the verb "run."
I run -- Present
I ran -- Past
I will run -- Future
I have run -- Present Perfect (this is the one you want)
I had run -- Past Perfect
Here's a link to conjugate any verb.
