Hello, I run 40 MPW (male) and have struggled with some of my interval training recently. My legs feel dragged down. I have neglected to do tempos at Daniels' "threshold" pace. Should I just be patient with the VO2 training adaption, or mix 20 minutes at that threshold pace into my long run? Or would I be better off replacing my repetition workout with the tempo? I am 7.5-8.5 weeks out from my race (5000m). Thank you all.
