Here's to Altra's impulse! First pain free run in 2 years. Early arthritis in my big toe. These shoes are the real deal. How can I find them in size 11.5 to 12 for cheap!?

I'm also a big Altra fan. Just got a pair of Escalante's. They feel like slippers.
Got me running pain free after years of struggling with a neuroma.
I'm not in the Impulse, so I can't be sure, but I have gotten a lot of excellent deals on Altras (superior, instinct, torin) from 6pm.com.
Looking forward to trying the Escalantes. I've heard lots of good things.
I used em for a few different shoe 'cycles' a few years ago. First the Instinct (2 pairs - OK), then the Torin. 300 miles into those I developed a neuroma, I know they're supposed to help prevent that stuff but NOOOOO! My feet haven't been the same since. F altra and the horse they rode in on.
I bought a pair in December and don't plan on buying any other brand ever again. They are awesome.
I have mid level cutioning and will probably get a pair of minimal cushioning for faster stuff.
I am the second poster in this thread.
