If you're training seriously, almost by definition it has to happen. If your T is not low, in the 200 range, you aren't training as much as you could for an endurance athlete. You want it to be on the low side, that is how you end up with the least amount of muscle mass as possible.
Your doctor must know. After all, he is the leading subject in the area. He has done years of peer-reviewed research on Low T. Or not. He has probably never even considered this issue.
