    Runners Currently Capable of Sub 2:45 1200 Meter

    Probable-Makhloufi, Kiprop if in 2015 form

    Possible- Clayton Murphy, David Rudisha, the Kenyan who got second in 1500 at WC in 2015, Soulemann assuming his "diet" and "supplements" are in order.

    Long shots- Centrowitz, Jr.. With prs of 1:44 and 3:30 a 2:44.x 1200 seems possible but not a certainty by any means

    Thoughts?

    Despite his kick and impressive 3:28 1500 pr, I don't think Farah, even at his peak, had/has the strength to grind out three 54.x laps in a row.

    This makes no sense to me. Farah certainly has a better chance than Centro at doing this. His PR is 2 seconds faster.

    Yeah but Centro is likely 2ish seconds better than Mo over 800m
