With all the talk in the NBA about star players resting, it got my thinking if that could be part of the reasoning track isn't as popular to the common fan. Our top runners are very selective with how often they race, even at collegiate levels your top guys will only race a hand full of times. Would having top runners race more often (I'm not saying they have to race every weekend, maybe niece every month) help grow track/road races popularity?
