Epo is not used as a "pick me up", nor would you ever use it in a patient with a hct of 37. Just stop commenting on something that is plainly obvious that you know absolutely zero about. My goodness. Don't you realize that making ridiculous comments negates any kind of confidence in anything else you say, whether it be accurate or not?
Most hematologist's would prefer their patients weren't on epo perpetually. So from that perspective it is a 'pick me.' It is the old argument of where the short term ends and the long term begins. The truth is, until you suffer from a rear blood disorder, I will not take your knowledge in this area seriously.
