Lmao that documentary is old and that's piracy. Idiot is giving veganism a bad name. I paid to watch that doc, it was pretty good. But it's old.
Yes. It is the 'leftover footage" from the Wesley Korir documentary "Transcend". My understanding is that the movie was going to be contrast of an African moving to the First World and First Worlders moving to Africa. However, the project took a turn when Korir returned to Africa to run for Parliament and they had enough footage of Korir for the main movie.
What were the times in Lisbon?
60:00 for Robertson to win, and he didn't push the finish.
60:52 for Isaac Kipkoech in Eldoret, though, at approximately 7,000 feet altitude. For what it's worth, the NCAA gives 97 second conversion for just the 10000m at Colorado Springs, just under 7,000 feet altitude. With just that conversion, Kipkoech's time becomes worth 59:15 at sea level. If you doubled that conversion for 10k to 194 seconds for the half, it would be 57:38, which is obviously way too much. Kipkoech as an altitude born and trained runner wouldn't get the same conversion as a sea level athlete going to altitude, but if the course was measured correctly, a decent if, this was probably worth around 59 flat.
Kipkoech is supposed to have been born in 1994 (=23) and ran a pr of just 28:14 in the 10k two years ago.

I always said you should never trust a vegan. I'm finally proved right.
Kinda weird that LRC is supporting piracy.
