Is that your first 800m ever? 1:02 followed by 1:30 is insanely bad pacing, one you might expect if you threw a random fit person who has never ran track in their life into an 800m race but not a senior in highschool. Given how much you died on this 800m, it suggests that your first 400m was fairly close to all out. I suspect you can run 59 - 61 but not much faster.
I don't know how a 1:02, 1:30 split could possibley "feel good"
It is useful to compare your time to female high schoolers. A 12.94 girl isn't amazing, but will be quite competitive in dual meets and league level races. Such girls are usually around 60 for 400m (or 57-59 if they have a lot of endurance for a sprinter).
Yeah I agree, about this crazy pacing. The good thing is, your 800m time is likely going to get way better than this in the future without any gains in fitness. Try to run your first lap in 1:10 and see how you go, you should easly run 2:25 your next race with a more reasonable first lap. As per your 400m, who knows. A 59 would fit your 100m time, but that is old, and you are comming off injury. It is just a guess.
