How long should I sit in a warm Epsom salt bath to get the full effect of it. I heard that after 10 minutes, the toxins will start to re-absorb, but is that true?

Be sure to bring a magazine, or your phone so you can troll letsrun.
Honestly man, there is zero proof or science behind Epsom Salt Baths even working. People have tested the contents of empon salt baths after you excit the water and they do not come up positive for lactate or any anabolic waste.
I love bath salts after a good run. I feel absolutely great until I feel like the world is closing in on me. After a couple of sleepless nights I'm ready to do it all over again.
I say go for it.

This is pretty silly.
First, what toxins are being removed? How are they removed? What effect does the salt have?
It is pretty tough to get something across the skin. It is designed to resist penetration.
My senior research thesis is going to look at Epsom salt baths ability to 1)cross skin barrier and 2)affect inflammatory cytokine expression.
So look for that post in the winter of 2018.

We can barely contain our excitement.
Epsom salt baths helped my ingrown toe nail feel better. I didn't realize any other gains but then again I only had one foot in the water.
Good! I am pretty skeptical that there is any benefit.
I agree with the poster who said it's awfully hard to get something
to absorb through the skin

Wrong. Very wrong. Many things are absorbed through skin.

There is no doubt to me that somehow it works. Good luck with your thesis.

It's been used in clinical settings to treat preeclampsia and eclampsia.
It's been used to treat hypertension as Mg is a vasodilator.
It's killed people with hypermagnesemia (albeit when ingested) so it does affect Mg levels.
The ONLY barrier to effectiveness is skin permeability.

Alright buddy, time’s just about up. Hit us with the results.
I think I need more magnesium
Magnesium is DEFINITELY absorbed through the skin. Better You Magnesium sprays make a big difference, they gave me crazy dreams and I have no doubt the magnesium was going in, it made me feel like total sht.

Work up a sweat and place a tab of LSD on your hand and report back.
