I was 31 she was 23. I was coming out of a bad marriage and not ready to be in a relationship. But she was fun, sexy and sexual. She blew my mind with her sexual ways. We had sex daily for over a year. Then I decided why leave her ?
We have been together now for 25 years. Her father was ugly about from day one and it has never been good with her since. We have a great son and a great marriage. She is still fun as hell and we rock at least three times a week.

9 years difference at that point is a big deal. She either needs a father figure as a boyfriend, or he is immature and needs to impress a younger girlfriend with money or something. It is not a totally equal relationship.
When you figure that men die sooner than women, she could be setting herself up for 20 years at the end of her life alone.

Like a 21 year old is ever going to worry about what happens when if see 70. Your mathematics is out as well.
Chances are they won't get married anyway.

What are your 5K times?
Only 164x unfortunately but I stopped running after HS and med school/residency got in the way.
I'm 57 and currently dating a 19 year old. Mmmmmmm yes, nice and fresh just for me and my grey whiskers, LOL!
I'm going to bang a 19yo tomorrow night. Yeahhh..... so hott! This LR dad is concerned over nothing, needs to focus on his own life not worry about who dd is doing it with and how. That's the road to insanity, dude...
No, just pees on them

Not wrong from a legal standpoint but festering in the realm of impropriety, don't you think? Am I being old fashioned?
Question for you OP:
Would you rather your daughter date a slacker her own age that has no job, no maturity, and no ability to commit?
Older men tend to be better prospects for marriage-aged women.

21 is not "marriage-aged."

This board is absurd. A 21 yo dating a 30 yo is nuts, at least from the outside looking in. Everyone saying you're just old fashioned is laugh out loud funny.
The only 'absurd' thing is you passing judgement about two people you don't even know. If he is a 30 y.o. grad student/ PhD/ med school there really is very little difference. As long as they respect each other, what's the big deal?
When I was 30 I got a bj from a 21 yo!
A 30 year old dating a 21 year old is concerning.
A 25 year old dating a high school girl is creepy.
Good for him but that's fvcking creepy
I think it really depends on the context. If the guy was actively seeking 21-year-olds and found the OP's daughter because he was hanging around the dorms, that's creepy. I don't really see any issue if they just ended up getting to know each other randomly and ended up dating, though.
When I start med school at the age of 31, most of my classmates will only be a little bit older than the OP's daughter. I'm not going into the whole process with the intention of finding a 22-year-old to date, but I'm certainly not going to feel creepy about it if feelings happen to develop between myself and another M1 at some point after many hours of working/studying together.
Your daughter is dating in an appropriate age range. You should be more concerned if she dates someone under, say, 25. She should be dating men between ages 25-30.
Pics, pics, pics, PIIIIIIIICCCSSSSSSS!!!!
My wife is 10 years younger than me but we started dating when I was probably about 35 and she was 25.
What concerns me is you say, "College-aged" daughter. Is she not in college? If she's mature (very hard to pull off at 21 but maybe possible for a woman), then it might be ok. But if she' immature, I'd be worried.
But there really is nothing you can do.
At least they might be using rubbers.
hahahahaha
Congrats on the Eskimo Brother! I'm not quite sure of the spelling but I believe it's menage a trois.
Impressive that the OP got all these responses without giving any details about the guy
