This is the greatest victory interview I've ever seen. She's so genuinely surprised. Congrats!
Edwards 67, whole pack in it.
Grace Barnett moves to front 2:16, pack there
Purrier all over and pushed to leave at 1100
Nelson, purrier, Edwards at 3:26, purrier in lead 1 to go
Nelson vs purrier w 100 left, Nelson edges purrier for 4:31, purrier 2, rivers 3rd, Edwards 4th
Nelson interview awesome, surprised, laughing "stayed on it and I kicked, and I did it!"
Samford Rules!!!! Democrats lose again!!!!
Loved that interview by Karisa Nelson. Would also like to know more about her / the Samford coach / program, at least training-wise. Just everything about that seemed so unexpected, and she was really pushing around everyone else towards the middle of the race. Wow!
Just announced that King Ches was going for yet another individual crown in the "1500"
Christian Soratos getting tons of mileage out of that race where he pushed the pace against Ches
She's been on the rise the past three years. Made a big jump last year making Outdoor. Samford is on their third distance coach in three years.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAAND he didn't get it. Beat by a freshman.
The hell is happening?!!! Josh Kerr goes early and wins the mile, closing in 54! Ches 2nd and it wasn't even close!
"No one could have predicted that" - D Stones with the understatement of the millennium!!
He's a redshirt freshman from Scotland.... 21 yo at least.
Ches is DONE!
62 ish at quarter, chest to front at 500, Thompson on him, whole pack in it
2:10ish, Thompson, vt guy, Kerr,
Ches takes lead at 1000 and pushes
Kerr and Thompson match him
Kerr running from ches at 1200, 3:09
Continues to accelerate. Ches can't keep it! Kerr looking powerful.
Kerr wins 4:03!
Ches second 405, Carnage behind, middle Tennessee in 3rd
It almost felt like the whole field was teaming up against Ches in the middle of the race, he was driven out to lane 5 at some points there and nobody was giving him any ground. Guess it worked at the end, wow.
P.S. Couldn't help but laugh at the little Ches 'visual tactics' short they put together with the boxes and arrows.
well... Freshman wrote:
