At no point did I mention black or white. I am not racist in any form,I have nothing against any ethnicity. I fully support Africans or people of any country coming to the US for a better life and better circumstances. At no point did I mention US chanpionships had to be all white athletes. So everyone who has replied so far is false and jumping to assumptions as usual.

I do feel that to compete for a country, you should have been born in that country. It defeats the purpose of having inter-nationality competition when countries can cherry pick from other countries and athletes can find loopholes in the system in order to get money elsewhere.

I also do bot blame the athletes tor this. If I was in their shoes I would would do the same thing and make the money while I can. It's the fault of the federations for allowing it.

It's a US championship that should be for people born in the US, it doesn't matter if they are black, white, blue or green as long as they were born in this country.

As long as people fit certain criteria and become citizens of a nation the way anyone else would have to, I have no issues with people changing nationalities.

That said, African dominance was the killer (a number of years ago now) of an already niche sport. The fact that things like the US national champs are now dominated by African born athletes is just the icing on the cake.

Spence, Sinclair, Curp, Williams et al. ran 43 or faster back in the day.

True but the foreigners represent their own countries. There is no real national championship in golf, so they don't have a problem with switching allegiances.
