Would love to put this out to those with life experience. Perhaps recent retirees.
I am at a crossroads in my life. I work a fairly boring, low paying job (45k a year) but it has amazing flexibility and autonomy and most weeks I only work 20 hours. I am recently 30 so really taking stock of my future as kids/family/marriage probably coming up in a few years.
I have narrowed it down to 3 choices:
1 - Grind out a second part-time internship in hopes of catapulting that into a career that pays more and is more interesting. (currently have been doing this for the last 2 months with another 20 hr / week gig and it's decently stressful)
2 - Just enjoy my life and do a ton of camping, biking, running, exploring, reading, cooking, building etc. and make low income pay
3 - Quit the internship and go back to school for a masters, advanced diploma etc.
To further qualify my choices:
A - I am in a precarious financial position (not a lot of savings) so thus the recent push with the internship.
B - I am an ENTP personality type so get bored VERY easily and am quite creative / entrepreneurial.
Feel free to ask me anything else. I am an open book!
