Hello LR. I'm not sure if this is a good idea but my friends suggested it. I run D1 track and cross in winter. My main events are the 8 and 15. I'm not Abby D but I've made strides. I feel my base is great and I'm in real contention for a strong NCAA outdoor season. The auto qualifiers are within my reach now. My coach is very intense and follows a periodization schedule which means he's all into precision and sequence of workouts. ok I've been in this program for two years and I can't argue with the results. Sooo.....my problem is the coach can be too overbearing. He shouts at us if we miss our splits in training or racing. His argument is we are now experienced enough to know and hit them. He sentences us to punishment runs if we don't make the session marks. He belittles athletes who fail to respond. I feel like he's using hs tactics and we're D1 women. I feel I can run well without this military-style bs regime. Is this normal??
