WOODY MF KINCAID!!!!
Last 3000m in 7:44?
Did he lead the last 2km?
Bekele did something similar closing in 4:56 in the Olympic final in Beijing while leading a considerable portion of the race outdoors.
Put Mohahmed in a good paced Diamond League in Brussels or Zurich and witness a probable 12:52 or so. He ran very impressively both at the Olympics and at Eugene Diamond League last year.
is lomong back from the dead?

He wasn't dead; he was just stunned.
Does anyone know what happened to Jager? I was hoping he was gonna win. Results say DNF, I didn't think he was pacing but can anyone confirm either that or if he dropped out?
He was pacing, led from 2k and stepped off at 3400 around 9:02

Not sure what race you were watching, but jager stepped off at 4K in around 10.3x.
Huling and Jager were rabbits.

Huling took the field thru 2k, then jager took over until 4k. Ryan hill led for about 400 but then ahmed dropped the hammer with about 600 to go.

This is the kind of pacing we need for WR's and fast times. You need a guy that is just as good (or only slightly worse) than the guy(s) going for the record. The pacer needs to get a group through 4K on pace (like Jager did) for a 5k and probably to 8k for a 10k. Otherwise, IMO it's really not worth it to have a pacer that only goes to 2k during a 5k. If anyone has serious WR aspirations, running the 1st half of the race at WR pace shouldn't be too difficult that it requires a pacer, but the last half is where it gets really tough and you do need a pacer, but when the pacer is most needed, they are off the track already.

Ah I see, thank you.
Great results from everyone, but a fantastic run from Ahmed and Jenkins in particular. I'm seeing a slew of sub-13 contenders for this outdoor season.
Ahmed would've kicked Farah's ass last week in that Birmingham 5000m!
GO CLEAN MO!

More like "SlowMo"
Little off-topic, but in all seriousness, has anyone noticed that Farah's signature kick has looked a lot more slow-mo (pun intended)? Might just be my perception but other than Rio, his kick has looked quite slow and his arms never seem to be going quite as much as I'm used to.

No, he definitely meant "clean mo".

Ahmed's progression is certainly more "normal" than Farah's
Wow, great thinking Einstein. You should be a Diamond League meet director. If trolling, 10/10.
Idea: only drug test people who finish the race. Then you'll get your flock of magical rabbits that can get through almost an entire race at WR pace, from the front.
