I have no words. 3 points is absolutely inexcusable. Anyone know what is going on there?

Don't they have a 45.x sophomore?
The sad truth about college track and field to the outsiders is no one cares. It is a bigger hassle for the MIZZOU AD to fire Halter than just ignore it. Halter might be a good guy and might be very knowledgeable. I see a lack of expectations from the athletic department, high school coaches in the state, tax payers, and coaches on the staff. This has been a long tradition at MIZZOU and nothing is going to change. It seems like this topic comes up every year on LETSRUN.
Mizzou had a bad meet. However, last year the men had the highest ranking in school history. The woman's xc team had there best finish and a national champion. A lot can be said on here behind secret identities. Going on here every couple of the months is not going to make points magically appear. If you have a legit concern I suggest you make an appointment. The conversation may be enlightening. Finally, throwing Missouri high school coaches under the bus makes little sense since they are commonly producing national class athletes.
Get your facts straight Ryry. Last year's men's ranking??? Who care's what a bunch of overweight coaches vote on in the rankings. Mizzou was 64th (3 points) when it counted at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene.
The women's cross country team didn't have their best finish ever - they finished 11th in 2004.
No one through the Missouri high school coaches under the bus ... they do an awesome job of producing national class athletes AT COLLEGES OTHER THAN MIZZOU!!!

Fire him! Then two years later fire the next guy! Then the next guy! Keep firing until they win a national championship!

How many people attended the meet that were not family of runners? Probably less than 200. This sport losses so much money you cannot fire people who are under contract. Nobody wants to watch a bunch of doped up kids run in circles
