What a crock of sh!t. I wanted to watch the mile, 3000 and 5000 this weekend. Looked at Big Ten Network and then the website. Figured oh well I'll just stream it on BtnToGo. Nope, Big Ten Plus wants more money too.
Point of the post -- another charge.

I pay the cable company $144 per month or $175-$220 if I don't call in and b!tch. I "only" watch CNN, A&E, AMC, HBO, ESPN and the Big Ten Network. I subscribe to the Big Ten Network for Basketball and the off chance they broadcast running. I pay flotrack $120 per year which I will never do again. RunnerSpace and USATF.tv want similar subscription amounts and I just can't. The indifference and utility sets out as such -- my fanhood is not strong enough to feel compelled to give USATF.tv any money even though I would like to see the events. My experience with flotrack has dampened expectations on a video streaming service.

Every time I turn around someone has their hand out for a $100 or more of my money. Yet I can't even get decent coverage. But in the summer Universal Sports shows me a diamond league event every other week free and the video replays are uploaded to the web (YT) moments after. When I watch the Olympics or World Champs, I pay $10 to adtelly and watch BBC.
Something is wrong with this overall picture.
