the last few months I began regressing in speed and feeling despite training harder and more then ever. long story short is I overtrained pretty bad and am now taking 6 weeks to 2 months off from running to recover (also have tendinitis is three places on my leg).
my questions are: is that enough time to fully recover from overtraining, what can I do physically while I rest up that wont effect recovery (i.e body weights, biking, swimming etc..) and finally how would I go about getting back into shape for December and next indoor season properly?
Im a mid distance college runner if that helps anything.
