We are a division 1 cross country program that spends hours debating the 6, 12, 18, 24 challenge. For those of you who live under a rock and do not know about this challenge here it is...
There are 4 components of the challenge, following the multiples of 6. Each component can only be assigned to one multiple and the components include running a mile, drinking a beer, eating a donut, and choking the chicken. Typically the challenge lasts 24 hours, but we aint no scrubs.
We've got some negative Nancy's who say completing the challenge in 12 hours is not possible, and need to prove them wrong.
The leading strategy is as follows:
Run 24 miles, eat 18 donuts, drink 12 beers, and choke 6 chickens.
The day's schedule would look a little something like this:
Wake up and choke 2 chickens. Eat some donuts. Go for the run (which we have budgeted 4 hours for) and consume donuts throughout. We then have 8 hours to drink 12 beers, choke 4 chickens, and eat as many donuts as we have left.
We are asking for two things. One, opposing suggestions and reasoning. And two, testimonials for all the brave souls who have attempted this challenge. We know none of you soft, hobby joggers on letsrun have completed the challenge in 12 hours, but we would love to hear stories from those who have attempted to complete the challenge in 24 hours.
Our team will not be stopped. This challenge is happening whether you like it or not and we welcome any challengers.
