I saw one of the early screenings of it. If you like running documentaries and want to hear one of the US's great distance coaches it's well worth it.
I took an entire HS crew to see this film. I figured I would enjoy it since I knew about the Jamul Toads from back in the day and figured they'd cover that period in the documentary but wasn't sure the kids would like it. Honestly, much to my surprise they all loved it. They really enjoyed getting a glimpse of how Meb trains and were super motivated by it... plus they got a kick out of the old footage in the film... I think there were even some shots of MSAC from years ago.
I checked this out last night, well worth the $4 rental. One item of note, its a feature length documentary not a 'short'. Good running film though.

Bob is a great person. I honestly feel this movie is a little out of place. He really did not have great distance running teams at UCLA. He only really had a handful of true national and even less international level distance runners. He is not on the level of a Jerry Schumacher, Wetmoore, Salazar, Vin Lannana etc. He used some very old school coaching techniques that still work today. But I think this is a lot of fluff. He is solid... but many other coaches had more more depth to their careers especially with distance runners.

Let us know if you find any athlete who was coached by Coach Larsen who would agree with you. Those of us who had the good fortune to be coached by him will uniformly say that not many other coaches had more more depth to their careers.
