I always seem to get little aches and pains and whenever training is starting to go well, something trips me up. I'm on hiatus from running and what I'm really looking for is a fantastic injury prevention routine/program that can help keep me healthy. Any suggestions are welcomed. I've seen the orpjt routines but I really want something that is easy to do at home and doesn't require a ton of resources.
Start every run really really easy. Don't run too hard too often.

I used to do something like the lunge matrix in high school but it was only for one xc season. Needless to say that hasn't carried over to college running, etc.

Fix your running form and try some meditation or breathing exercises. Meditation helped a lot for me.
Slow down your easy runs, rumble roller, low-carb diet, good sleep routine, drink lots of water and get the right electrolytes, build your fitness slowly and surely, run barefoot at least every other run for a mile or more, do yoga or pilates. I do all of these and have zero aches and pains after 70,000 miles (and a lifetime of problems until I did all of these). Low-carb/high saturated fat diet and slowing down are the two most effective IMO.

A lot of Johnson's stuff is or was on his VEVO channel and YouTube. You can also buy the building a better runner DVDs from his website. The general strength stuff including the myrtyl routine and lunge matrix have been good additions to my athlete's routines and don't take much time.
