Sounds like they are a group of tweens and 20 somethings that mainly hang around Cambridge. Doesn't sound like a group that has a good enough masters team to place high in competitions.

Let me guess, you were kicked off the team?
Hi Anthony
hahahhah
someone is bitter.
GBTC has been around since the 70s with alumni like Salazar and Rodgers.
i'm on the club. we have a range runners from hobby joggers to USA champ qualifiers. plenty of people who just want to dick around, but also plenty of serious people who can race with the big dawgs.
tattooman!!!!!!
we know who you are
trolllolllllollllloooo....

I'm a Master on GBTC. We do have some pretty good masters runners, but Masters are pretty hard to coral, for a few years we did have some good participation, but that has waned. I'd mostly agree with your assessment, that the demographics skew younger and faster.

chill out ma man Anthony. You are a great runner. Just keep your head up and keep at it. You'll be back on top. Don't worry about anybody else
GBTC in my experience is an outstanding group. Also many other groups in the Boston area are outstanding. Really can't go wrong. These guys give it their all.
I once ran a 3k at one of the BU mini meets and as a 20something I was grateful to have a BAA masters dude to run with. Boston has tons of good runners. It's a good thing. Just want to say props to everyone out there. Everyone in USATF-NE competitive clubs does a great job! Friendly competition makes us all faster and it's something im grateful for every time I race in Boston area! :)
I ran for them for a year after college before i moved away. Great group and the coaches a great guys. They actually have a full track and field team not just distance. And they have all ages and ability levels also. Check out their website and youll see more info.
Right now I'm in New York City.
It is official after the worst 4 years of my life with training, the coaches Rod and Tom Derderian told me they didn't want me to run with them anymore so I left them for good.

Why did they not want you to run anymore? Did you trip over yourself from leaning forward too much and simultaneously perform oral on some lead BAA chick at 5:45 pace at Lone Gull 10k?
Word on street is he taking over the BAA as head coach
You see, Anthony is like the rain man. Dude is so smart it is scary. Just when you think he's a dumb*ss he will outsmart you 10x over. It's scary
