What are the most interesting or unusual training loops you have near you, or that maybe you've run when living/staying elsewhere?
My city is split in two by a natural escarpment, so there's some converted rail trails that have unique elevation attributes for training. One of them steadily rises at a non-stop 3% grade for almost 5 miles. I've used if for hard uphill tempos many times.
What do you all have near you that makes for a unique or interesting training loop?

Nothing.
The summer where I was in the shape of my life, I did a 16 mile loop every Sunday. It started with a very gradual downhill on a bike path for a few miles, which got your legs moving, then five miles of steep rolling hills on a fire trail to get them thrashed. You came out on a road that looped back to town with just enough of a downhill to trick you into picking up the pace. Then four miles of steady uphill. Felt like it made me regulate my effort for my long run in a very effective way.
