the best way to improve your times is to not run at all, when I was 8 years old I ran a 9:42 mile. I did no cardio for 8 years and when I was 18 I ran a 8:12 mile. Since you did more workouts, you will sadly have the opposite effect so you will be lucky if you crack 20 min. good luck!
