Okay, I did this workout this week: 2 x 800, 3:01, 3:05 with 5 minute recovery. Can I break my pr? Don't think I can break 6:00 but this didn't feel that hard.

I'd say about 6:15-6:20 but maybe sub 6:10 if you push it and w/ competition
Personally, I couldn't run two 800s at practice at my mile pace with only 5 minutes recovery. Maybe not 5:50 flat but probably upper 5:50s, maybe right around 6:00.
run a mile at about 80% effort and time it then you will know approximately how fast you can run at full effort.
