I have just started to grow a beard and oh man does it itch. I spend every minute scratching my face. Can someone help me please?

Clean it.
I'm sorry for your troubles, ma'am :(
Patience and moisturizer.
Beards scream lack of manhood. They scream "secondary sexual characteristic" for the low-confidence not-yet-post-pubertal.

Despite his best efforts, Entelodon has been unable to progress beyond the stage of patchy peach fuzz for the entirety of his adult life.
Lol it happens. For what it's is worth i think everyone goes through that stage when it's just starting to grow. Wait 2 weeks and your face gets used to it.
I think you have to drink lots of beer to numb the itching. Wearing flannel wouldn't hurt either.
Seriously though, I think you just have to wait for your skin to get used to it. The itchy phase is temporary.
Yah, it passes.
If you have really dry skin, maybe grow your beard during the summer when it's more humid or something.
The longer it gets the less itchy it should be. You need to get a good beard shampoo to use a few times a week to help keep the hair and your skin clean. Also a beard conditioner and/or a beard oil will help soften the hair.

I agree wholeheartedly. Men who have beards think it makes them look manly. Why not just act manly?
These days beards are becoming more and more popular, as is that 4-5 day unshaven look. To me, a beard or 4 -5 day growth is a sign of laziness. It shows that you are too lazy to shave everyday.
C'mon dudes, get up in the morning, lather up, get out that blade and shave!
Your response is typical of the guy who can't grow one in the first place.
Maybe someday you'll hit puberty, little man.
Simple- beard oil.

I agree with those who say give it some time. Also, dry skin may be more of a problem than the beard, so try some products to see what works. I found that if it's getting longer and starts to itch, I just trim it and feels better again.
I found the best solution for an itchy beard is rubbing it between a woman's thighs. I've found that it has a natural moisturizing effect. But maybe that's just me.
If you wait the itch will likely go away. There are a few days, a few days after starting, where itch is normal. After that it feels like the hair on the top of your head, which is to say you do not really feel it.
If you reach a certain age your beard and mustache hair may exceed what is up top. It is probably better than dying young.
No need for any of the phony hipster beard fetish products like oil or special conditioners. Like others have said, the itching stops after 2-3 weeks.
Moisturize with puzzy juices.
