A lot of people on here tell me to read it. But every time I open the pdfile up and start reading it talks about the marathon. And I have no idea how I would apply that to high school training. Am I just not reading enough

stop being lazy and read it. jesus.
Buy the book and read it. If you can't put an effort into reading then it's not worth our effort to explain it to you.
Most of it is not geared to the Marathon.
A question I always wanted to ask: Has anyone read the Jack Daniels' book while enjoying a Jack Daniels? 🤔.
Are you really reading it? It has entire sections dedicated to the 800, 1600, 3200, and 5k.
If you simplified your title to:
"How to apply jack daniels to hs running"
then everything would make total sense.
