My normal running cadence is about 155-160, around 150 on E runs. I noticed this and noticed as my overall sprint speed increased, my normal cadence went up. For today I told myself I would focus fully on stide rate and went for a 30 minute comfy progression run. I tried to keep 180(Went 8:4x,7:5x,7:3x,6:48.) and it hurt so much but I kept doing it. At the end my legs felt super light and I landed a new 100m pr on my last strider(13.7) previous pr was (13.9-14.1.) There has to be a correlation to this. I plan on going 180 on all my runs now. Is there any research for this?
