Nope, they will probably do a story about you in Runners World. Make sure your house is clean when all the reporters show up.

Please .... get over yourself. You are a part-time dad as it is. Make them your priority for the weekend.
One day you'll look back and realize how stupid it was to place running so high on your priorities. Because trust me, you aren't that good and never will be.
Ignore these miserable cretins; dependong on the kids age it'll be fine and you should bebapplauded for doing what keeps you fit and sane. Just because these other simps hate life but pretend otherwise doesn't mean you should too. They're goddamn kids-- and resilient. Give them something to be proud of. (I'll be pumping your wife meanwhile but that's what polyamory is about, bless you brother!)
That's what closets are for.

Give them something to be proud of --- ha ha ha .... Daddy placed in his age group at the Turkey Trot. Sure, he was always too obsessed with running to care much about us, but gosh am I proud of him.

This lady. Don't be an idiot like her.

Depending on the kids ages, I don't think it would be feasible to run in a treadmill at a gym with three little kids running loose. Unless they are big enough to take care of themselves, in which case can't the oldest watch the other two at home?
If it was an at home treadmill, not a big deal. Don't be an idiot and block off the belt so a crawling kid can't touch it. I've seen plenty of parents do it. Their kids aren't as maladjusted as letsrun predicts they'd be.

Give them a PS4 or X Box & they'll plant themselves in front of the TV the entire time you're on the treadmill.
It's crazy to think that your kids will want to watch you run on a gym treadmill. You only see your kids on the weekend and you're going to double? C'mon.
Depending on age, kids can keep themselves entertained at a track (they love the jumping pits and mats) but not for more than 30 minutes or so usually. Don't expect a good workout. Priorities.
I have a treadmill at home with a ton of stuff for my kids to do around it but still don't expect to ever get more than 3 or 4 miles in. Beyond that, they just get bored. It's not worth it. Spend the time with the kids doing things they want to do.

Should be pretty clear that he doesn't have a wife.

You got one because you got some responses. Basic premis makes zero sense, which was the problem, but you got another point because it was kind of funny thinking about some idiot brining kids into a gym to watch him on a treadmill. Problem is, gyms don't allow that, but, if it was allowed, I can see someone being that stupid.
If this is true just don't. When I have my daughter only running i do is jog w her. time w them is more important than running
Don't listen to these clowns. Sub 18 5000 doesn't happen by wishing. Your kids will understand as they watch you focused on your goals of top ten age group finish. They will have a blast watching you whiz around the track hitting 90s.
Put them in a stroller and push them around the track.

I think this was an off shoot attempt at me mimicking the troll thread last week about a similar situation. This one was a little more subtle at least.
OP, if you want serious honest answers you need to give us more info. Are you divorced or is your wife out of town? How old are your boys? Why two runs? Just make it one, preferably the one in morning on a track so your kids can play on the field while you run and have the rest of day to do whatever. Maybe do a short or repeat workout and or have your boys join you on the strides to make it fun. There are certainly creative ways to get your run in and involve your kids too. Another time, have your kids ride their bike while you run along side them and make it a game out of it--such as speed play. Eventually, one or all your kids might be inspired to run in middle or high school.

TRUTH!!
I perhaps misread this in that the OPs wife is just out of town or, pace the wit above, getting pumped by another Lets Run "bro", not that OP is divorced, with custody "issues" etc.
Either way, being a competitive runner, at whatever level, is still important.
That lifetime second raters-- barely sub-15 at their "peak," not even sub-21 now-- pretend otherwise is the real joke.
